Katie harnesses her love for words, strategic thinking, and affinity for digital marketing as our Director of Communications, for both client and internal initiatives. She helps clients figure out what to say and how to say it so that it resonates with their audience and inspires them to act.

Katie graduated from Bethel University in May 2015 as a marketing and finance major, with a minor in leadership. Before landing at NordicClick, she interned at a software company in the ecommerce space, where she gained experience in sales and a variety of digital marketing efforts.

When she’s not at her desk, Katie loves being active– preferably outside and in good company. She has a hearty appetite for books, traveling, Pinterest and good conversation. A self-proclaimed foodie, Katie can be found testing out new restaurants and fighting the urge to Instagram her meal.

1. What is your first memory of the Internet?
AIM. My screenname was smallstuff818 and I wasn’t allowed to talk to boys. Thanks, Dad.

2. Favorite lakes memory? What does being on the water mean to you?
Being on the water means weekends at the cabin with my favorite people on earth. Whatever the current activity – from extreme tubing to card tournaments to sunset cruises on the lake – there’s nowhere to be but 100% present.

3. How many cups of coffee do you drink per day?

4. Most used app on your phone?
Google Maps. I’ve got places to be and a mediocre sense of direction.

6. What band/artist would you pay $30K to have play in your living room?
One Direction. $40K if I could keep them forever.

7. Childhood dream job?
A mermaid or “the boss.”
