Search Engine Marketing Specialist

As a Search Engine Marketing Specialist you will leverage our Interactive set of tools along with your knowledge to add value to NordicClick and its clients. Our Search Engine Marketing services aid our clients in the implementation and optimization of robust Pay Per Click and Search Engine Optimization. This position is permanent for full time employment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • LEARN! Your job will be to learn about our processes and clients and translate that knowledge into actionable tasks that help us and achieve our objectives.
  • Setup, maintenance and reporting of Search Engine Marketing campaigns including:
  • Developing relevant keyword and targeting strategies
  • Writing text copy for PPC campaigns
  • Working with PPC vendors and internal staff to develop cost effective campaigns
  • Managing keyword bids and positions
  • Keyword research
  • Driving towards measureable results using conversion tracking
  • Search Engine Optimization for client sites including by not limited to:
  • Copy and Content Optimization
  • Meta Data
  • Local Search
  • Auditing and Analysis of sites
  • Linking Strategies
  • Run monthly reports and provide insightful recommendations to agency partners.
  • Become more of a Search Engine Marketing guru than you already are.
 

The world of Interactive marketing is constantly changing and we need someone to embrace the changes and be ahead of the curve.

 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of internet marketing experience required
  • BA or BS, ideally with emphasis in marketing, advertising, computer science or related field.
  • Proficiency in Google AdWords & Analytics, Omniture SearchCenter, Bing/Yahoo Search
  • Marketing and/or other search applications
  • Deep knowledge and interest in Interactive marketing
  • Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization
  • Good writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and resources
  • Attention to detail
  • Sense of humor and energy
